High frequency whining noise when booting up Korg R3

Hello guys and girls,

When I boot up my Korg R3, it starts whining with a high frequency tone from the keyboard itself. It is not shown on my input meters though. After 10 or 15 minutes it dims and eventually disapears. Any idea what this can be? For the rest it is functioning OK.

Any thoughts on this would be welcome.......

It is possibly the small green coil that is found next to the display: I had the same thing happen to a wavestation: once changed, it is no longer a problem, but you will probably have to take it in for servicing unless you are a tech yourself.
