Sorry if this has been asked before - is there a way to chain Euclids together such that the patterns are continuous/concatenated, or is this device strictly limited to 32 pulses?

For context, i often create very high speed drum patterns for a sort of reverse-granular effect, but if i want a higher pitch with the same level of control im still stuck with 32 pulses and cant "expand" the pattern to accommodate a higher rate/bpm.

Try Robotic Bean's free Select CV Switch. https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... cv-switch/

You could chain 8 of these together, by going thru this device. Throw on an LFO to control the switch buttons (you could program this in a Combi pretty easily). You could put the LFO on a random waveform to make things interesting. Or if you don't want to go the LFO route, you could create an automation lane of the different CV Switch buttons. And you could chain 2 or 3 (or 100) of these together, if you need more than 8 patterns.

There is also this free device from pongasoft, but it's only a 2-way switch. Which is useful if you want to switch between 2 Select CV Switch devices. https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... cv-switch/

The possibilities are virtually endless. So, to answer your question, no, you aren't just limited to 32 pulses. :)

I've attached a Combi patch. This is only for 16 Euclids, but you could build one with endless Euclids if you wired enough switches together.

Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Sorry for the late response, but thank you this is exactly what I was looking for :) I think I just need to route reset-in/out to an LFO and they'll run sequentially (?) I'll figure it out.

I'm glad that it was able to help you out. I've been having a lot of fun with this combi. It kicks out some really cool variations to keep the drum interesting... auto-fill activated! Thanks for asking the question, because I was able to throw this combi together and have yet another great way to use Euclid. :)

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to do with running them sequentially. You could do that easy enough by automating the CV Select Switch.

Here's another quick and easy way to get some major variation with a single Euclid. Just hook up an LFO to the CV controls on the back.
