Well..I thought I'd have a look at how many devices I have which do chords, scales and note correcting...and it was a lot. So here's the list.
1.Ochen K CV Tuner (the one which started them all).
2. Static Cling Tome and Index.
3. Retouch Control ChordSet and NoteSet
4. Propellerheads Scales and Chords
5. Enlightenspeed Ltd Chordbank
6. Tonicmint Chordline
And then there's all the note filters, note alters, note limiters and note mixers. (which I also have quite a collection of.)
Have I missed any? How many do you have? Which ones are your favourites?
I like Tonicmint the best
The evolution of chord and note REs: How many do you have?
Only Propellerheads Scales and Chords.... well because I didn't have the option to not get them
I know my way around chords but I have use the player sometime because I only have 25 keys on my keyboard so faster just to use the player to get the chords laid out

How about the AutoTheory RE? Anybody still using that now?
I don't have the RE but I have the VST version. The newest version allows you to launch/control other VSTs from within itself, which is great since Reason doesn't allow VST MIDI out. Works well.
I also have TonicMint's ChordLine and of course Scales & Chords.
But out of the three, the only one I ever really use now is ChordLine, because it allows me to easily enter my own custom chords/progressions.

Do they offer any crossgrade options from RE? Do you or does anyone know?
Most recent track: resentment (synthwave) || Others: on my YouTube channel •ᴗ•
No idea, sorry. But I regularly see it heavily discounted on pluginboutique. I would bet that it'll be 30-50% off during the holiday sales.diminished wrote: ↑29 Oct 2019Do they offer any crossgrade options from RE? Do you or does anyone know?

It has been built from the ground up you have a number of different nodes (more being added) that you can join anyway you want for some fantastic results... I just looked up Cycling74 Max and yes it sort of is like that.Creativemind wrote: ↑30 Oct 2019Looks like it's Cycling74 Max in a Reason Player?Carly(Poohbear) wrote: ↑29 Oct 2019Delta... I did a video about it here and this .
Just a short story:
approx a week ago I read a row style comment on FB: If you using a chord player, music is not your business.
Few days later, I got thank you letter from a musician for ChordLine and ScaleMatrix. This guy perform music at live with a singer day by day. He uses VST instruments and/or Reason with an Akai EWI wind controller. So from now, he can perform not just melodies, but harmonies as well....
Honestly, I was very pleased with him letter. I had never thought about this use before.
