If I remember correctly, I used a long tuned bassdrum sample in Kong, and put it through Scream4 to get the notes to "sing". I think I copied multiple pitched notes on different Kong pads to get it to be able to change notes. Not the most conventional way to create a bass line but it worked for this track I guess.

Thanks. Interesting the bass is probably the instrument I pay least attention to when I hear this track, so it's interesting to see that 2 people have commented on the bass. Just goes to show how different we all absorb music.

Love the arabic lead that comes in after that noisy 8 bit like lead. Then it takes off boom!
