A very hardware album (with Reason recording, of course)

Want to talk about music hardware or software that doesn't include Reason?

Hey, team ReasonTalk hardware folk,

Happy to announce that I've released an album of live hardware jams. It's mainly focused around the Elektron boxes (Octatrack, Four, Rytm, Digitone, Heat, Monomachine, Machinedrum) but also some other great gear as well. I can truly say that after nine months of making music exclusively on hardware, I've been more creative and more productive than ever in my life. I've recently picked up a Novation SL MkIII and I look forward to seeing if I can integrate Reason into the hardware setup (I would love to put Antidote in there with some of these hardware synths).

The whole record was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Reason.

Please give it a spin sometime!:

Awesome album dude. Some really nice progressions/melodies in there

"On the last afternoon" is something else.

Hey thanks so much! The Octatrack is a pretty amazing device. I often wonder if there were a way to tweak the Dr. Octorex formula to get to some of the performance capabilities of the Octatrack.

Amazing! Thanks so much for the kind words. And yeah, that collection of short stories is first class, and her story is a really interesting one. I really appreciate hearing it!

Sheesh Jay. Lovely stuff. Then went to your personal site. Where do you find the time?

Hah. I suppose I'm selective with my time? Or maybe I don't watch any TV? Thanks so much for the kind words!
