Not sure if I'll sit this one out for a bit and wait for a sale, but the fact that they improved CPU performance, finally gave us a resizable GUI/UX, improved metering, as well as Master Rebalance, Low End Focus, and improved the Imager and EQ ...looks pretty bad ass.

My wallet is very relieved that there are no absolute must-have features for me in this upgrade.

I feel like this should have been a free point update, but this is par for the course when it comes to iZotope stuff. I still might upgrade - it's only $149 USD for Advanced in my account.

You have Ozone 8 and never learned how to use it?

Holding back the new Tonal Balance Control presets for a paid update feels pretty stingy, but I probably ought to get more into the habit of feeding it audio to make custom curves from anyway.

I've already spent an unreasonable amount on iZotope products this year, so I'll probably be waiting a while and hoping for a good sale. Ideally a good bundle sale once another product or several have paid updates out too.

There is no Ozone 8. I think you mean Ozone 8 Elements. It's free until the end of today.

It's either Elements (which normally sells for $129 USD), Standard (which normally sells for $249), or Advanced (which normally sells for $499). It's fantastic industry leading mastering software. Good stuff. Though if you're used to mastering in Reason, it's a completely different workflow.

I'm done with izotope they've become money grabbers lately. There's no upgrade path for me for O9 except if I upgrade from MPS2 to MPS3 for $249 which is not worth it to me because not much is new in it but a few plugins by a company I never heard of. I'd rather spend money on some Brainworx plugins.

I've heard great things about those reverbs though.

You should contact them if you don't see a upgrade you should be entitled to, if you do message them, I'm sure they'll have something for you with ozone 9 alone. It has happened to me before and they've been very helpful.

I ended up getting it. If you purchase from JRR, there’s an automatic group buy coupon added to your cart. I ended up paying $126 USD, which is roughly a 15% discount. This was for an upgrade from Ozone 8 Advanced to 9 Advanced.

How are you getting it for $149 when I contacted Izotope about my upgrade path from MPS2 O8 advance to O9 advance they put in my loyalty account $299 for O9 advance. I’m done with them.

You might try JRR Shop. I just bought the Ozone 9 Advanced upgrade from them and got a 15% discount, so it was only $126 USD out the door.

Is your goal to upgrade your entire MPS2 or just the Ozone 8 Advanced (to Ozone 9 Advanced)?

The 15% discount should auto-populate in your cart, but if it doesn't - the code is "groupbuyauto":

Just O9 advance. I wonder if since I bought the suite bundle will just O9 upgrade work?

Edit:
I just talked to the people at JRR and they said it should work thanks.

MMMM via JRRshop I can upgrade Ozone 8 Elements to Ozone 9 Standard for USD 109. Anyone with an opinion whether the move from elements to standard is worth it?

Might as well wait and save for advance imo. I always buy the version with all the features.

I purchased the Music Production Suite last week (which includes Ozone 9 Advanced as well as Neutron 3 Advanced, Nectar, Vocal Synth, RX7...) and I am quite happy with it, also with the customer service as I purchased it through a third party vendor and didn't get the code for the free subscription year on groove3, so I contacted iZotope per Emil and in that same afternoon they answered me very kindly and gave me a code...

The only thing I don't really understand is how their loyalty offers for me are all products included in the Music Production Suite

Do you guys managed to fix the windows rescale issue on reason 12? Ozone 9 still appears tiny on my computer (windows).
