Ample Bass P Lite II D-1?

I'm creating a bass line with a melody that needs that D-1 in there at certain points in the song. Did anyone ever succeed to get this instrument to get to D-1? By default the lowest range is E-1 tho places advertising it says it starts from D-1.

Will the pitch bend take it down to a D? If it does then you could automate that on your D notes. Not ideal though.

Edit: Or, having thought about it some more, if the pitch bend works you could record everything 2 semitones higher then have a permanent pitch bend down.

I read the manual and figured it out. I just tuned the 4E string all the way to get the D-1 to work. I now have D-1 working.
