Hi everyone,

I’m new to music production and synthesis, and I was wondering on how to create a specific synth sound in Reason.

The synth part I’m looking at replicating starts 4 seconds in and continues throughout.

Is this an arpeggiator? The synth line evolves a bit, going from an open sound, to a muffled type of Girgio Moroder type. As someone who is just starting out with Reason, how would you go about creating something like this?

You could start off with a super saw put it through a low pass filter with resonance (e.g. thor with multiosc) and automate the filter frequency with an LFO. for the notes you can use an RPG arpeggiator to give you an 8th pattern.
