I just record them as a separate take and use the comp edit. Comp edit is really good in Reason.

Had a feeling Curved Automation would be and I thought they may have had the themes affect the mixer (possibly more themes) and thought Track Folders seeing as they're one of the most requested features and thought possibly an NN-XT 2 and Ruler Markers and better searching functionality in the browser.

Can't the mixer stay white? An SSL 9000 is kinda white anyway, so it doesn't bug me too much.

It's a little plain looking for me, I want the Pamela Anderson version running slow-mo down the beach in a red (or in this case dark or blue) swimsuit lol!

Someone did a mock up dark one in a thread a couple of months ago and my it looked fantastic dark. Bet blue would be nice too.

I would have bet big money that the scalable high res GUI would have been in v11. I just thought no matter what else, that one just had to be there. I had no idea the main feature would be a new product for other DAW users. But I respect the choice they made from a business standpoint, and I also expect the high res update in a point update (if there is a god).

Well I think that would maybe only be necessary for a small percentage of users with 4k monitors. I don't have them for one so I doubt it's high on their agenda.

I never cared about VST support or being able to use Reason in Fruity Loops(I'd rather be forced to beatbox while getting waterboarded, personally)

Reason 8 was dubbed the workflow edition so I would've thought Markers would have been given to us then along with sync'ing the browsers and windows, undo history, labelling and re-ordering send effects, manual parameter inputs with copy & paste and a few key midi editing features as they are key workflow enhancements. The bounce in place should've been in 8 as well. Key workflow.

Hope so but the features of 11 feel like a .5 update so I guess we could expect a couple of those in a point update or all in 3 point updates perhaps.

Hi rez GUI/graphic update for modern hi-rez screens.

New sampler, a Combinator 2.0, or a Live clip ability with Blocks (with markers and punch-in rec added too). Some thing of the above would have made less of a fuss among loyal users.
And I thought the hi resolution scalable thing would be part of it too.
Also Vst3 and allowing midi vst have been lot of requests too since introducing vst in 9.5. So I thought something in that line would come too.

Now it will be interesting to see if any big things comes on point updates or it will be R12.

I must admit that the Rack as plugin was nowhere in my system to believe come as main R11 announcement. It is fantastic, but would have been more welcomed with something bigger vision done with standalone experience, especially a live alternative to ableton. But who knows, they might have something on the development blueprint stage.
