Looks like this is a better place to ask this question.
I'll update the thread to be more informative once it gets started.

Now that my project is finished, I need input regarding how to present it in videos on the subject.

The project can be used in many ways, but it primarily allows for:
  • Automated self-modulation of devices
  • Advanced MIDI mapping
Would it be better to show it in operation so it can speak for itself (and so you all understand what it is)?

Would it be more ideal to narrate / discuss details while demonstrating it?

What would you like to see first?

This sounds like the wisest approach. I'll probably just begin with a demonstration of the thing in action, then go into explanations once the potential has been made clear. I completely understand if it still doesn't make sense.
