Anybody technical know why winzip can't unzip it? Apparently you need to download 7-zip.

I am wondering, that there are still ppl which use WinZip or WinRAR when you can have 7Zip for free which is better in any case IMHO.

The names are too long. Unpack at the root of the disk.
Thanks but how do I do that? When I open the zip file all I see is a folder for mac_os which is apparently empty. Probably quicker just to install 7-zip?

Yes, 7zip. Specify the root of the disk when unpacking.
I just copied from TotalCommаnder to the root of the disk.
I have pretty basic knowledge of that sort of stuff (root disk, TotalCommander etc.) but many thanks all the same. I just installed 7-zip and unzipped the zip file using that. Worked a charm.

The package is inconvenient to use.

First, you need to unpack. My WinRAR began to swear that the names are too long.
Inside the archive will be several unnecessary folders and folders from MacOS. Okay, do it 50 times not long.

After you will see a mess in the names. Somewhere short names, somewhere long. Sort and rename it will take longer.

After you notice that loops are often not suitable. They can be with the bass. Or they can not be cut into individual crisp drums.

Some samples have dirt and clicks in their tails. Some samples tail sharply cut.

You might want to translate the frequency of 48Khz to normal 44,1Khz. You also need to convert stereo samples (which are actually mono, but recorded in stereo) to mono.

The one who made this library put a little effort. I don’t know why it used to cost $ 900. This price is overpriced.

I have Jiggery Pokery Kings of Kong Classic Drum Machine ReFill and Samples From Mars samples.
Their developers have invested soul in a favorite thing. Everything is clean, sorted. Take it and work. But here you need to finish the work by the developer instead.
+1

You know you are not onto a good thing when 50 packs which they claim costs hundreds of dollars with less than 3 GBs of data!!!
Was not impressed by the samples...

Personally no, but it's that small and a quick download you can test for yourself :)

I like them. They're well recorded and all it needs is some clean-up to get rid of the extra non-essential words, like "Reverb" and "Sample Audio_Pack", etc.

I got momentarily excited at the prospect of free drum stuff but then I realised that I have more drum samples, drum synths, drum kits and drum instruments than I can ever possibly listen to in my lifetime. I also have more drum processing plug-ins than I will ever know how to use, each of which can take one of the samples and make it sound like one of the other ones, or like something else completely.

It's fair to say I'm sorted for drums!
