So I seem to recall that upgrading my mac from Sierra to High Sierra with Reason still at 9.x would make it impossable to open my old Songs, because of a new way files were being saved under High Sierra.
Can‘t find the thread that had the information though.
Can any of you confirm this?
Has this been fixed somehow?
Since I‘ll probably be upgrading to 11, can I THEN open my old files under whatever Mac OS we‘re at now?
Help appreciated, thanks!
Upgrading mac os
You can. Absolutely yes.
I upgrade from El Capitan, to Sierra e to High Sierra. You can open all your old song (even if they come from a pc too) .

I did that. There were some serious lag issues for a while a while ago that PH finally fixed. Now I have the latest Mojave version with no issues.

I recall it was related to APFS file system no supported by Reason version 9.x .So, in theory, you shouldn't use Reason 9.x with apfs. But then with a newer reason version, compatibility is fine. And of course, previous reason songs can be opened in higher reason versions.bama wrote: ↑26 Aug 2019So I seem to recall that upgrading my mac from Sierra to High Sierra with Reason still at 9.x would make it impossable to open my old Songs, because of a new way files were being saved under High Sierra.

I am now on Mojave on iMac as of yesterday. So far so good! For the longest time I was on Sierra and somewhat terrified to upgrade because of all the issues. I’m in the latest reason v10 and probably upgrading to 11 suite. I just decided, ah, go for it.
I have an MBP early 2013, and an NVIDIA graphic card in it, and on High Sierra now.
Wherever I read about Mojave, it says in comments that there is no more support for that graphic card drivers. So, I dare not to upgrade to Mojave. What is the issue all about? Any who knows better about this issue?

FYI, there is a huge raft of security changes coming in Catalina that will break a lot of older software: https://cdm.link/2019/09/macos-catalina ... t-to-know/
I would assume Reason 11 will be on top of it, but if you're not upgrading, you should probably also stick with the earlier MacOS.
