I have been playing around with this synth. Its very good for a variety of sounds and has
a decent soundbank. This is the lowest I have seen this device being sold for. It even beats
the previous upgrade sale price.

I got Loom Classic for 5 bucks or so (not Loom2). Its a good synth with some interesting features. The GUI is not really my favorite and somethings require some headache until you understand how to do it. But its ok.

For that price its a good recommendation, especially if you get Iris2 on top for free.

Says “no physical iLock required”. Do you still need an iLock account?

That was exactly my thinking too. Its a good reason to buy. I couldnt find anything else on PB
which was worthwhile getting except now for this, unless they are holding back till later in the
Month with some new deal.

Personally I’m holding out at least for a week or two. Glitchmachines sale finishes around the 18th and they’ve constantly got stuff in PB for sale. I’ll wait and see if Palindrome or Cryogen come up before I buy some crap cheap plugin.

ILock...thanks for the info. I’ll hop over that one.

It isn't Loom 11, it's Loom II.

Was "Boyz Eleven Men" one of the sequels or a tribute act?

What happened to the other 7 men, where they hiding? Was it just 4 handsome men on stage, and 7 backup singers from Milli Vanilli doing studio work? I NEED TO KNOW - BBC I NEED ANSWERS! :o    :o

It's far from "crap". IMO it's 2nd best additive synth if VST format available (after NI Razor). I wonder why there's so few additive synths in VST world - they sound so great & distinct.

I didn’t mean Loom was a crap plugin.
I meant I want Iris but I’m going to wait to see if something I actually want to buy goes on sale so I can buy that instead of just getting some crap $1 plugin in order to get Iris. If it wasn’t for the iLok account thing I might even have gotten Loom :).

Depends on the number base. There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who don't.

Doesn’t it do glitchy stuff? Stutter Edit is the one I’d recommend getting if that’s what you’re out after.

Transfuser2 is almost like "Reason 1.0" in itself. It is quite deep with built in sequencing, slicing, randomization, and it can be used as an FX insert too. The UI is old/small though. Surprisingly few YouTube videos on it considering what it can do...
