offering 100 USD (not in ur favour really) Must be expert in sound design / recreating sounds

So i'm looking someone who will do this as a hobby rather than work as this is not in anyone's favor who just looks to work.

1) I will tell you popular songs i like, and you will split the various important synth sounds you hear into few seconds each in reason and next to it you will place midi notes that represent that part.

2) you will be sending me 1-2 sounds each time with their midi notes next to them.

3) i will then proceed to try to remake that sound, send it over to you, and you correct it.

this will be done in reason.

this will be for 50 such sounds clips.

Looking for someone who has time to do this as a hobby and has time, not someone who is busy as to complete this asap.

Thank you

shake my head..

samsome, what's your agenda here and why are you so obsessed with reverse engineering sounds that you're even willing to pay someone? You'd rather spend this money on someone doing the work for you (you'll not learn a thing this way) than buying a MIDI keyboard?
:reason: Most recent track: resentment (synthwave) || Others: on my YouTube channel •ᴗ•

$100 for 50 bespoke clips? Good luck with that.

i find it i will learn faster like that, i don't do this full time,

plus when i'm trying to reach a sound i could spend 2 hours then i'll give up come ask here

i will get answers here but sometimes they're just not enough, i could go back spend another 2 hours try to see how its done and still come back ask again, its just not working for me a lot

This is a very long task that is not fun. So from $ 500 maybe someone will agree to do you the favor.

I don't think you fully appreciate just how much work you're asking for here. Re-creating 50 bespoke sounds based on references along with the actual MIDI data, along with an additional layer of tuition, along with the need for it to be done quickly, along with the inevitable revisions that would be involved is a large undertaking - and that is an understatement. Nobody in their right mind who knows what they're doing is going to take on a workload of that magnitude for $2 per sound, hobbyist or not.

If this is a learning exercise, you would be infinitely better served by enrolling in a course dedicated to computer composition & sound design, or by watching/reading more on the subject. You can't expect to suddenly re-create the sounds heard in your favourite music or understand the processes involved without having a good understanding of how synthesis works. What may seem like an insurmountable, time consuming task now will seem much less daunting and time consuming once you break it down and get a grasp of the basics.

And, hey! Not everybody wants to be a sound designer or create their own sounds from scratch, they just want to get the ideas out of their head and write music. If you don't want to do that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that - that's why sound-banks exist.

Ain't nothing wrong with a producer having sound design support. Some people here should probably stop tweaking knobs and write more music. Beware of immediate gratification though. Come back in ten years.

On a serious note, you can learn a lot on YouTube, and it is okay to learn things in other DAW's
The time has come for you to take care and comb your hair.

I can offer you to purchase WBF R2 for the current summer price and it has 4,000 sounds where many of the patches are most famous. It might not be the ones you are looking for but you will be very satisfied anyway and I can promise this. :)
