Hello. Like the title says, I do own a copy of Chambre which have some nice orchestra instruments in it. Now that I see StringWerk on sale, I'm seriously considering getting it but not sure if it would be redundant. Anyone here use both and is it worth it to get StringWerk? What's the main differences/advantage/disadvantage between the 2?

I'm getting into making cinematic scores which is my main reason for looking at such products.

These short answers are giving me the impression that Stringwerks is not all that. Can anyone explain or give a serious opinion? $50 is not a little bit of money for me and if there's better things to spend my money on, please advise as I'm still new to this.

The short answers are hinting at Softphonics’ offerings not being available any longer for a reason. (Apparently copies from other sources.) There have been a number of discussions on that on here.

Chambre, like Softphonics' other releases, was compiled from samples illegally ripped from other commercial sample libraries. StringWerk is a legit Reason port of Session Strings.
