Use the keyboard accidentals (black keys) to toggle between five customisable sets of seven chords (playable on the white keys).

Chordline is about getting creative with the TonicMint scales library expanded, with a full interval and chord library you can automatically generate a full Chordset based on any chosen key, scale and chord configuration.

Tweak any note of any chord manually, on the five octave piano display or with the set of common Chord Tools, or use some of the uncommon tools to effect probability and velocity.

On the Navigator panel you get an informative display of all five Chordsets for quick selecting and of course there are the automatable octave and semitone shifters.

Product details
  • Play 35 chord on 12 keys
  • Define custom chords and chord sets
  • Powerful tool for individual chord generation
  • Powerful tool for chord generation by scales
  • Huge scale and chord library for chord generation
  • Selectable velocity and probability modifiers for the chord notes

The player RE market is really hotting up of late. For me this is the
pick of the bunch. It has a lot of the functionality of plug in Boutique's Scaler VST,
which cannot currently be fully implemented in Reason.
Out of all the recent player devices i think this one will be an actual purchase, got 10 days to
decide before the price hike...

Thank you for this! :D Useful when auditioning sounds while playing a midi loop in the sequencer. If the next patch is one octave off just hit "B" and you can have it transpose by an octave - simple - fast - good workflow enhancer.
Of course if you set "B" to one octave lower and the next patch is one octave higher, you would need a A/B/C-transpose Player  , so almost there with the design. Idea for an update maybe?

Looks like what the chords side of Scales and Chords should've been.

Well...just to add my bit... I've been playing with this for a couple of weeks and it's magic. Give it a go. You know you want to.
You probably don't need another synth or drum machine but this?...Well yeah...of course you do :)

I can't tell... can the output of ChordLine be written to a sequencer lane?

Oh yeah... duh  I don't use players all that often, so forgot about that feature. Thanks.

How about that? I've been looking for a chord-playground thing! Was about to pull the trigger on Scaler, but if this has similar functionality, then Chordline is the obvious choice.

I'm trying to use the CV inputs on the AB Transpose player, but they don't seem to be affected. They aren't labeled, but they do point to the 4 knobs and A/B switch. Maybe not finished? Or am I perhaps overlooking something? There's no CV on ChordLine, so maybe the CV on AB Transpose was just forgotten?

yeah I see what you mean...I can get it to work in a combinator using the combi cv's, but not on the player.

I honestly think that the combination of Chordbank and Chordline make the Kordbot hardware seem quite primitive, at the very least from a usability perspective; there is no diving through OS settings for advanced features, everything is available on more or less one screen.

It’s a formidable combination 😎
