A bit of a project this evening. Tonight I did some stress testing of various DJ software EQ. As part of this I put together an emulation of the Rekordbox DJ EQ, when set to Isolator mode. I used pink noise to match the crossover frequencies by ear. This patch uses some REs, so unfortunately won't be accessible to everyone. Here are the REs in use:

The core of the patch:
Yoko Band-Splitter
https://www.propellerheads.com/shop/rac ... -splitter/

The HPF/LPF filter - this is the only thing I haven't actually compared against the Pioneer filter:
Uberwave Filter
https://www.propellerheads.com/shop/rac ... on/filter/

EDIT: I screwed up the CV control side of things as the centre point isn't in the centre! Please use the simple version below until I figure it out.

These REs are for CV Control – DJ Mixer EQs typically have lower boosts than cuts, so this CV routing ensures that the centre point is still in the centre.

And here's a simplified version without the asymmetric CV control, only using Yoko and Uberwave Filter.

If anyone is interested in having a go themselves I can send the test files over. There are probably better ways to achieve what I have done.

For reference, the crossover points I have used are 290Hz and 4600.0Hz and the crossover slope is set to 24db/oct. This could probably be created using other devices, including some stock devices.

EDIT: I tried a few others and so far only Yoko is good enough for this task. For more info on why this is the case you can look at this thread which shows how much the splitters vary at the same settings:

I've cracked it. +6db, 0db and -infdb. The CV routing doesn't seem very precise but it works.

And here is the CV Mutant version of this. CV Mutant is better suited to this task.

Here is an updated version that uses Arcus RE instead of CV Mutant for the EQs.

This version also has the LPF / HPF set to the correct range, again matched by ear. There is also a Horizontal version of the Combi that makes more sense when mapping to horizontal layout controllers, where the Low is on the left and the High is on the right. The normal version is designed to be used top to bottom like on a DJ mixer.
