Trust Cypher Synthesizer?

I mean how many 1 osc synths are there?
Correct as usual! :D

I've exhausted my one RE mystery track collection for the moment, but I welcome everyone to participate. Will make something tomorrow.
Haha cool. I really wasn’t sure. If it wasn’t for the 1 osc clue I would have no Idea.

I might write a tune later on but I’m not promising anything. I’ll let you know if I’ve got something.

Awesome!

In the meantime, here is another track:

Starterhint: This synth RE has a rare filter.

Hehe! It was the hint that made me guess that one or the other mono synth from that time that had as well some special filters... But then it sounded more like Antidote... :)

It is really hard to make good but not too good hints. :)

I'll make another one tomorrow, but as mentioned everyone is welcome to join in!

You may indeed!

A tricky one, but I'll go ahead and say Resonans Physical Synthesizer!!!

Nope, not Resonans.
All sounds are presets or sliiightly modified presets by the way, I was quite surprised by how cool, unusual and cinematic it sounds (because I have never used it extensively before). Reminds me of a Virsyn softsynth from back in the days.
I only added reverb and delay on one instance of the instrument.

Hint: RE has a filter which can be set to 36dB/octave.

Could it be Vecto? Never tried it but according to the manual it can do 36db/octave.

Almost!
Since four days of uncertainty are enough: it's Rob Papen's QUAD.

Who's next?

(Hands up if you think developers should supply us with free instruments to keep this thread going ;) )

Darn, but fair enough! Cool snippet by the way. I should check out Quad and probably Vecto as well.

I have another mystery synth track:

Starter hint: This synth RE got different skins.

Groovy. Sounds almost like it was made in a tracker, Jeskola Buzz or something.

But I had no idea that there are synths which can change the skin and I'm 99% certain that I don't own it. Google leaves me hanging, too.

The only synth with different skins I can think of is Solaris.
But sound wise it doesn't feel like it.
But I'll go with Solaris anyway.

Solaris does have different skins but it is not the right one.

Tectonic could fit for both, sound and skins topic.

Tectonic fits better soundwise, but then it must be SAW-1. :)

A new hint is in order: this RE is a wavetable synth and has many onboard effects including lo-fi options.

In case you count the different colors of the sliders and knobs as different skin, my guess is Mixfood ReMix Wavetable Synthesizer.
Comparing some of the demos, it sounds like this could fit.

Yes, but also the background. In any case, you are correct!

Feel free to make another entry, I don't have anything atm. :)
