I try to look at cheaper/better alternatives, and if possible, if it can be emulated in some ways. So I was looking at it, and see if it can be reproduced in Reason.
I tried yesterday with Pulsar, Ochen K series, Ammo, and Viking oscillator, for the LFO and OSC part, then Thor audio-cv converter, Truth for function (I now know Complex-1 does that too, and the signal is Either like, plus Math module from Socalabs). But I have trouble for the AD and ASR envelopes, and I am not certain what XtoOSC-x-y- really do, because they have no gate input either, plus no indication on that, they might be free running (so no 1-shot). Then VCA 1 and 2 also has no gate input, maybe VCA 2 has, but looking at picture it seems the trig is on the CV in, it can be a bit confusing, but what is labelled cv could be actually a trig input also. Anyway, not an easy task. Much less petition Plankton to develope a full RE version for us!
Maybe a little contest for this emulation would stir some fire up their bellys, and we could get some lore to provoke them to step in: Our emulation sounds better than the original...\\
All kinds of Re accepted? Who's writing the rules?? I'm no good at it
