I like it. I've been using it here and there in my tunes lately.
There you have it folks, Quixotic Sound Design - The Choice of Professionals (tm) ;)

Haha thanks.

Your Zero refill seems to get more and more use from me lately. My upcoming song has 4 different patches from it.
Today I was actually considering bying another refill from you. The Oberon one. I got the synth during the last sale but I haven't tried it out that much yet.

That's good to hear!
I've been slaving away on a Europa refill but it's not where i want it to be yet.
My Oberon refill is probably my personal favourite out of the three, at least I consider it the most creatively successful. Oberon's sound is a bit on the clean/digital side so I can understand if it didn't grab you straight away (with your preference for heavy/distorted sounds) but it can do detailed metallic tones pretty convincingly which might be interesting if you're keen on taking things in a more industrial direction. I still have a bunch of modular Oberon combinators that I'm sitting on more or less. It's a huge undertaking to get them all into commercially releasable shape, but I might well put them out as a freebie sometime.

Recently bought this SoundCells refills: Antidote Signature, Polysix Signature, Salad Bar 10 version 10.

Great sounds and excellent demos, everything coming from Harald Karla sounds great to me :)

I bought this because I still enjoy Thor.

https://www.propellerheads.com/shop/pro ... ture-pads/

I've not gotten too deep into playing around with the patches, but I'm liking it so far.

Plus, at only $5, it'd be rude not to buy it.

Bitley Synclavier 1 and 2 to complete the bitley collection
Raw Cutz has a new refill at loopmasters I'll be getting (waiting for a sale)

Synclavier is nice. But if you’re buying it to complete your Bitley collection then you’ll need to buy his new PX7 refill as well. Apparently it’s undergoing some dividing into paid and free content just now.
I’ll need to take a look at 008. Thanks for the tip :)

Many thanks for noticing - Been working on it today and it's becoming quite awesome if I may say so myself :-)

Just bought another refill.
Orkestrial Obersounds, also from Quixotic Sound Design.

I haven't gone through all the sounds yet, but so far this refill and his Zero refill seem to be more focused around new original sounds rather than trying to capture old 70s, 80s, 90s sounds. Personally I'm not overly excited about the whole retro thing. A little bit is fine but mostly I want something that inspires new creative ideas for music and these refills seem to do just that for me.

i just bought marco raaphorst's 80s refill and bitley's way beyond solid bass refill for PX7, both for $10!

i also have most of the soundcells stuff and highly recommend it - some very creative refills. i have my eye on synapse's modern analog refill for the legend.

i'd bought dozens of rack extensions before i first picked up a refill and wish i had investigated them sooner - some of them are amazing values with tons of great sounds for a relatively small price.

i need to look into this one - Oberon is a synth i've been meaning to spend some quality time with for months. it seems like it's right up there with Spectra as one of the most overlooked synths in the shop. they're both very deep synths.

Oberon is certainly one of Reason's "hidden" treasures. If you're interested in the Orkestrial Obersounds refill, there is (aside from the soundcloud demo's) a small free refill on my site with some extra patches that use audio samples from reason 10's new library as wavetables. There are also some template patches that were used in the development of the refill, and some combinators.

https://www.quixoticsounddesign.com/ork ... bersounds/
you'll find the free refill at the bottom of the page.

I just got Little Big Tonic. A collection of samples from the Pocket Operater Tonic with loads of patches made in MicroTonic. Really high quality samples, I'm very pleased with them. Sample packs are not usually my thing but I couldn't afford the MicroTonic vst so this is the next best thing.

I think it was Abbey Roads.
I've used it a few times too, it's not bad. Shame they can't sell it any more.
@pushedbutton on twitter, add me, send me a message, but don't try to sell me stuff cos I'm skint.
Using Reason since version 3 and still never finished a song.
