At some point, the 10.3 beta is going to run up against the timeframe for the 11 beta.

I guess I was wrong, feel like crying and crawling back into my hole.
Would be nice to be updated on when this is happening? It's been a month since we last heard from them.

I'm not in a rush. I really want them to get this one right. I feel like I'm in a holding pattern waiting. I have music I'm producing with artists that I'm having to deal with resource issues. I dare not bounce out the stems and work in something else, but if it comes to that I have to do what I gotta do.

Always over estimate expectations, that way you won't be disappointed!
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!

This next week but then I and no-one else here is psychic so might as well say August 2020, nobody knows.

I think it's gonna be this week.
Why? Because there's no Deal of The Week and they always paused it if for when there was a new sale starting, new device was being announced or new version was being released, so that people hold off with spending money elsewhere

Given it is a free update, your money holding argument is invalid.
I'm in no rush, for 2 reasons.
1) It has to be properly done.
2) As soon as release date for 10.3 is announced, the poosible-new-stuff-I'm-entitled-to-in-eleven-guesswork-drivel is going to run absolutely amok!

I've found this to be the case as well. Whenever they skip deal of the week something exciting happens!

No, I meant for the people that'd want to update from earlier versions or buy Reason for the 1st timePhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019Given it is a free update, your money holding argument is invalid.
10.3 in particular will be exciting for those 2 types, because VST optimisations won't be ported down to 9.5 (and earlier) and many people are on the fence with even trying Reason hearing VST performance is poor.

That would only apply for those who already own a previous version. Nobody who hasn't bought Reason cares about the deal of the week.antic604 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019No, I meant for the people that'd want to update from earlier versions or buy Reason for the 1st timePhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019

Are you 100% certain there are no people who have Props account and are buying REs to use them when they finally get Reason?PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019That would only apply for those who already own a previous version. Nobody who hasn't bought Reason cares about the deal of the week.
My was a semi-serious post, based on what I observed so far. Stop dissecting it like it's some kind of serious research commissioned by the government...

I dunno but it would be cool if they could add a simple: DE-ESSER, or other little tidbits that are really the only things missing from the program natively.

Albeit off-topic, but fwiw there are, besides DIY solutions, two de-esser combinator patches in: Reason Factory Soundbank -> ALL Effect Patches -> Dynamics -> Vocals123repeater wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019I dunno but it would be cool if they could add a simple: DE-ESSER, or other little tidbits that are really the only things missing from the program natively.

I hope you are right and the lack of deal of the week is an omen of winds of progress blowing our way.antic604 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019Are you 100% certain there are no people who have Props account and are buying REs to use them when they finally get Reason?PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019That would only apply for those who already own a previous version. If you don't have the minimum required version for the RE registered to your account then you cannot buy that RE but are asked to update your version of Reason first. So 100% it is!antic604 wrote: ↑28 Jan 2019Are you 100% certain there are no people who have Props account and are buying REs to use them when they finally get Reason?

10.3 was supposed to be released last year. We're almost into month #2 of this year. WTF.
