Hey folks,

As the curtain begins to close on 2018 SKP cues up the first episode in a new series of Rack Extension ReFills. First past the post is an autumnal expedition featuring Synapse Audio's classic RE synthesizer Antidote.

The aptly titled Antidote Memories presents an unmissable patch collection that is packed full of gorgeous evolving ambiences, deep 90's trance-tinged pads, classic laid-back 80's synthwave leads and uplifing but contemplative arpeggiations.

Borrowing a slew of influences ranging from cheesy 80's love songs (Phil Collins, Lionel Richie) through 90's trance anthems (Energy 52, Cygnus X, Robert Miles) and finally onto the modern Synthwave movement (Miami Nights 1984, Lazerhawk), Antidote Memories introduces a world of tastefully nostalgic patches and combinators that are suitable for countless modern genres.

The Antidote Memories ReFill contains a total of 175 patches including 50 Combinator ensembles for Synapse Audio's Antidote Rack Extension.

Antidote Memories is a collection of:

30 Ambience & texture patches
15 Monophonic basses
30 Laid-back lead patches
30 Deep pads patches
20 Arpeggiated movement patches
50 Combinator ensembles

In addition to the single patches you also have 50 powerful Combinator ensembles featuring 2x patch layers with extra effects processing ala Korg workstation Combi mode or Roland and Yamaha’s Performance modes. Simply swap out the Antidote elements with any of the included patches and tweak the Combinator controls for near infinite patch possibilities.

All the ReFill content has been finely-tuned making full use of Antidote's high quality virutal-analog oscillators along with the Diode Ladder and new Sallen Key filter types. The patches also make extensive use of the modulation matrix, arpeggiator and Synapse's legendary effect algorithms.

The patches contained within Antidote Memories all sound fantastic right off the bat, and include full velocity sensitivity and mod wheel assignments on every patch throughout the ReFill. All sounds are calibrated to average -12dBFS (VU) to avoid any unwanted sonic surprises.

Antidote Memories is available now for £12.95.

Cheers,

Nick Baxter :)

Fantastic Refill. The ambience and lush sounds are A-plus. Very nice combinator patches as well. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks for the support Guys!

Work has already begun on the next ReFill project which will be ready early 2019. I've also been making pretty good progress with the RE SDK so it's looking like SKP Rack Extensions are not that far away. ;)
