Hello lads, I am currently looking for a neat little Orchestral VST that I could use and is below the price of 150€. I can't seem to find any that are worth it, but perhaps a more expensive one is currently going for less because of a deal and one of you pals know of it? Hope to receive answers soon, thanks! (Oh, and because of technical reasons I am not able to use Kontakt by Native Instruments, so don't recommend those banks please.)

It's your lucky day. Orchestral Companion strings is only $3.99. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... on-Strings

I'm not sure if you'll score the next Hollywood movie with it but it's sounds very good. The woodwinds and brass versions are on sale as well.

If you can conjure up just a few more dollars/euros, I highly recommend Palette Symphonic Sketchpad from Red Room Audio. It is a Kontakt library, but uses the FREE Kontakt Player - don't know if that can work for you:

This is a high-quality deep-sampled orchestra that also includes other goodies, like a piano, harp, percussion, and choir. But you need to hurry! The Black Friday price of $195 ends tonight at midnight.

The Orchestral Companion recommended by QVprod is a great deal for the price. However, I have occasionally encountered problems with articulations not loading when using the Brass and Woodwinds VSTs in Reason. But the Strings VST has worked well.
