had fun with this, good practice, tell me how you like the beat... too minimal? or does it ride?

It rides!!! Great beat and vocal. Love it.

It works. Maybe just some scarce moments of some delay / modulation added.

I agree... perhaps more variety on the lead (syncopation? Sweep a low pass maybe?), and a spicier bass. I've been intentionally crippling my basslines... in an effort to declutter the soundscape, because I read somewhere that the bass should be more support than solo. Think I'm going to ignore that going forward; bassy does what he wants.electricthing wrote: ↑28 Nov 2018It works. Maybe just some scarce moments of some delay / modulation added.
It's a great start of a sound. I'd take it and remix the fuck out of it. Like go crazy with reverbs, delays, distortions, whatever, and build it into a beast. Really build in some details. I think it works though.Troublemecca wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018had fun with this, good practice, tell me how you like the beat... too minimal? or does it ride?
