Netflix, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. Some creative TV right there.

I'm currently watching my local town in the South East of England being turned into Pitlochry in Scotland for an upcoming series of 'The Crown'.

It's fascinating to watch the entire place being transformed into a different location. Heaven knows how much that is costing and it's just for one location in the 3rd series of the Netflix show.

I just discovered that the latest season of Starz "Outlander" is also being filmed in Scotland - which is standing in for pre-United States North Carolina and New York. :o  :?

'cept I'm not in Scotland they're just turning my location into it. They filmed the 'Monuments Men' here too as well as the TV remake of the farce Mapp and Lucia which is actually the correct location of the book...lol

Right, my comment was more in reference to your location being used to stand in for Pitlochry. I just found it funny that various wooded areas of Scotland was being used to fill in for the colonial era-eastern Americas. I have to say, having spent some time in both North Carolina as well as New York, the areas they're shooting in Scotland are pretty convincing. Almost weirdly so!
