This synth sounds awesome. The tone is super thick and the filters are great. I use a lot of saws/super saws so perfect for me.

Cool. How did you do the feedbacky thing around 2:00 minutes? I like that!

Thx! It was a factory patch and I just sat down on my keyboard and added a little bit automation to get it under control.

Nifty synth this... I'm especially surprised by some of the pad sounds, which hardly sound like saw-based sounds at all to my ears.

Anyway, just for clarity... is it ok to use drum-related rack extensions (like the acoustic clapper or the jackbox re's?) for the competition?

I added some unnecessary extra challenge for not reading the approval of "Any Drum-only and Vocal-only samples from Reason’s Soundbanks" so the samples were made from SAW-1. Maybe this information saves other people some time. :)

Thanks for setting up this fun challenge for a nice Synth.

What do you mean? I was updating my original submission a bit, then decided to go with another song I was working on but I'm going to just make a new post and wait a bit to see if I'm happy with it before submitting

It usually only takes 1-2 days before I completely despise anything I've created.. so we'll see :)

It’s rare to see an artist satisfied with his/her creation.

Hence I understand. I said you resubmitted because I heard two versions which both I liked. Great job!

Ah, yea.. I scrapped the first and am still working on the second :)

I'm pretty compulsive and try to just finish stuff and be done with it.. but then I look back and see problems or get a new cooler idea, etc. I'm going to practice patience here and use the rest of the time before deadline!

Hi Everyone!

This is Chris. Thanks for taking the time to try the synth and compose something! These submissions are awesome. I knew the synth was special but hearing what you guys have done with it has convinced me that a true, big analog sound has been captured. I hope you all enjoy using it. Thanks again for trying it out! Tell your friends!

And do try Selig Audio stuff - his work is amazing. Thanks for the plug man...
