Interesting that you should mention that. This song came about because the producer for an indie film contacted Roberta (singer & co-writer) urgently needing a song for the film's trailer. The director had already picked a song by some other band, but was having trouble licensing it, so they called on Roberta to come up with a song that had a "similar sound and feel". They needed it immediately, so we wrote and recorded it in about 3 hours. The film's producer and music supervisor loved the track, but the director refused to give up on his original choice, and at the very last minute was finally able to work out a licensing deal with the band.
Me too, but I couldn't remember/find, the name of the song.TritoneAddiction wrote: ↑03 Aug 2018At first the intro guitar chords reminded me of a speeded up version of Nirvanas unplugged version of "About a girl". But that soon changed as the vocals came in.
Nice track.
