Is there way to convert it to the normal CV Note data?
I know it's bipolar signal from -91 (C -2) to 102 (G 8)
Why they did it and how I can transform it into 0-127 format?
Amount and scale (within Thor's Mod matrix) dont precise for it.

You can scale in Thor itself or try Janitor. If there are 200 from Thor and you want 128 values, that means 128/200=0.64 which should be your scaling factor. You can use CVA-7 for easy bi/uni polar conversion and for controlling your conversion.

Thank you, I forgot about the Janitor. But the values obtained are also not accurate.

Looks like you just want to grab a note? I use RPG-8 for this in most cases, because it is the simples way. If i want poly, i just CVTP.

@ljekio, out of curiosity, in the instance of Thor above what are you using the last note feature for, i.e. where's the cv1 out going? Speaking of the Janitor, although there is a basic instruction manual it would be nice to see examples of the device in action with more detailed explanations of what it's actually doing. There's a couple of youtube videos but they don't really explain it well.

I know. But RPG is Utility not Instrument. And Players can connect with it only through Combinator.

Yep, CV out 1 will sent Note CV data.
If you need Gate, then Last Vel->100_CV out 2->100_Last Gate

RPG-8 works great in a Combinaotr for that task. Just "play" the Combinator.

Sometimes players must be inside in Combinator.

Hi, yes I know. I was wondering what you were doing with the note data you are sending, where is the note being sent to, what device? Is it to trigger another Thor step sequencer or used in a more creative way? You don't have to answer, I was simply curious. :ugeek:

Hi ljekio. with all due respect, you're answering a different question. I'll ask once more then I'll give up... Ok. See where you have wrote "Oops. It turns out I did it several years ago." What is it that you did several years ago? can you remember what that particular instance of Thor was doing? Thanks.

I did Thor patch as on screenshot. For modifying internal Thor's bipolar note data to standard unipolar Note CV.

Ok, thanks. The screenshot is what I'm referring to. (sigh) I was wondering if the 'cv out 1' was wired to another device. Let's leave this here.
