An apology
Hello, Everyone!
My views on human nature, how people behave, especially online, are probably wrong. I probably need to rethink that, instead of going full sarcastic on a place I don't own. The method of being overly empathetic with everyone and giving up on people who show the least bit of apathy is definitely a silly path.
I mainly would like to apologize to Administrators and Moderators for being a pain after falling for some provocation (past things do build up, but it's the wrong thing to decide to go nuts). (We may not see it, but they have a ton of extremely difficult work and decisions to make.)
I do also apologize to supportive people, those who actually meant no harm, and even those who just wanted a juicy argument - for being a pain in any form. Not just today's dramatic, but even with any technically incorrect comments/threads/thoughts. I don't want to make enemies with anyone at all, and not even irritate the least bit.
I wish the best health to everyone!
I found the forum informative and fun, but I don't trust myself enough, that at some point I would lose it again over some other matter, so I feel better if I'm gone from here. It's a personal responsibility.
I would like to thank for all the help I got here, as well as feedback, and I'm happy that people found some inspiration and use for some of my ideas. I'm not going to be much of a loss, though, because let's face it - I didn't have much use here. Yipe, and this anxiety level where my head almost starts shaking, is really bad.
Take care,
RobC (C was for 'casual', now it's for crazy xD)

Rule no. 1 never apologise for being you.
Rule no. 2 never buy intel. AMD is much more stable for audio despite what people post.

Rob, no matter what exchanges you're talking about I always had the feeling that you're talking from your point of view and not from some artificial point of view thats just made up to annoy - in contrast to others. That said that point of view seemed unreachably far away at times
And yes, I guess it is the best to assume the best of people you encounter online - because what can go wrong? Even if somebody is fooling you - they're all just text on your screen anyway in the end

It’s all about the clean and lean install man....at this point in the game they all run the exact same instruction sets on the same assembly language.djadalaide wrote: ↑25 May 2018Rule no. 1 never apologise for being you.

RobC: hey man, I think you’re being a little hard on yourself! When people disagree with you that means that you’re getting to them....people are reading and responding to your posts! As I said earlier, just because I don’t always agree with your ideas on audio and sound doesn’t mean your viewpoint isn’t 100% valid.
Your apology sounds like depression and anxiety talking, if I can get real with you for a moment. There isn’t a damn thing wrong with that....if you feel the same way in normal life, seek treatment. I did, and it changed my life for the better after I burned out and crashed. Don’t leave this (unique) forum because of a few incidents. I’m sure you have more to offer us than leaving!

No worries. No attack. I'm Just in full agreement with the OP. That's all.
OP was indeed chasing his tail.

Not directing this towards RobC, but in general, fading into the background is also a way of contributing.

As do I. This is the most respectful and decent forum I’ve yet to encounter in the “music forum” world. Like I said earlier, Rob, sometimes I might personally disagree with a post or opinion, but I ***ALWAYS*** want to have a dialog about it because I’m sure you have things to teach me and everyone else.....just as we all do!

I guess anyone's view on the world and on people changes all the time. We're all exploring and discovering. Nothing is perfect. We try to find clues, answers, but will often not find them. We make mistakes. Which is good because that makes us learn.
We try to be human. Try to understand each other and try to help each other. Attention paid with life energy is the best we have to offer I guess. Offering help to create better music, to sound better, to be a more enjoyable human being.
Cheers Rob! You're an analytic type. Learning. Nothing bad about that!

Hello Rob, as far as I have read your postings here on the forums, I've noticed something positive about you. Maybe because there's something common between me and you in a certain way. Keep it up. And you apologied, while lots of the less understanding people never do. Some forum members misunderstand people purposely and they don't hide it at all. If you know what I'm saying. All we can do is giving them an example of a proper way to communicate and behaving on the forums.
