Why the "#FLGang" hatred on Reason release videos?
I was wondering the same thing about the people complaining that Reasons "sound engine" needs to be updated so their fire "beats" don't sound "thin".
Hey, at least they can go use FL studio.. where you load up a blank project and there is already a Maximus on the master channel slamming the shit out of every sound they put through it #FLGANG

Immature mindless idiots really, as are all trolls and the like.
While a limiter can squeeze out lower frequencies, it will destroy the whole tone and the dynamics. A thin sound can be helped with equalization - and a professional(ly set up) sound system to begin with. All in all, with some engineering, they can get far better sound, and it's all possible in Reason. There are REs, VSTs, etc. so they could use the tools for their tastes.
Personally, ages ago I once tried FL, but didn't find to my liking that - at first glance at least - everything sounded like it was prepared for the loudness war. After 5 minutes, I left it, because I prefer to engineer the sounds myself. That's what I've learned it for, after all. Didn't check anything else, cause I was satisfied with Reason, but I don't go to other software, bashing them either. Maybe they feel intimidated, or insecure?
That said, if they look for the modern trend of exaggerated bass and distortion with reduced dynamics on drums - then even Kong's drums had such samples, and now the new Reason drum supply has even harder ones.

Sadly, I have a hard time reading YouTube comments like that, because it gets irritating when things escalate into trolling. Maybe Propellerhead should consider a bit of moderation - unless they already did.

I'm not doubting any tool. I only had a quick first impression, but was already dedicated to Reason, so didn't go further. I admit, sadly the trolls put the software in bad light.
I am nuts about sampling my own sounds, hehe - depends if they make their sampling tools available as VSTs.
Now, I would say why don't software developers unite, but... yeah...

Internet trolls. Thats all. Sidenote, I dropped FL for Reason.
Next month you will have changed your mind again.
Could it be that the #FLGang just booted Redrum up and only checked Redrum's dynamic drums? I mean, it seems only logical that they would grab the first pattern based device. Unless they are professionals and enter the Matrix. (Yes, I had to. I suspect Redrum backwards to happen.)
Again, trolls made me so biased, that at first I was surprised, who would teach FL. Now, the pattern fun sounds tempting, but it's not as flexible as a complete sequencer.
Anyways, go #FLGang then! Wherever they wanna go...

We should start a #ReasonGang.
We'll make Kenni the leader.

Tbh I don't care what daw is used. Don't need the same daw to collab.
I just feel as if imageline's piano roll sucks ass and the plugin layout is garbage lol.
I will continue to recommend reaper over it forever.

Now, I'm gonna say that the sound is what matters.
(Though, I remember asking YouTube musicians if they made their music with FL. Answer always was a yes, and how can I tell? - Didn't want to tell them that it kind of sounded... no word for that. Then again, they probably were just beginners. While Reason users were oddly talented, though not as many of them as FL users. - Oh wait, Reason can't be pirated.)
So do I hate FL now? No, the trolls.
I was the one who gave a f... I mean, who cared.

It's basic tribal behaviour. Weaker members of society form groups to affirm and contribute to a belief structure be it culture, religion, nationality, political affiliation or even football team.
Stronger members will exploit the tribal nature to further their own agenda.
We see these behaviours throughout life, even in the most mundane corners of consumerism.
Reason v FL Studio
Apple v PC
Nintendo v Sega
Atari v Commodore
United v City
Pontypool v Crumlin
Ducati v Laverda
Dog v Cat
Latex v Leather
Bull whip v Cat o' nine tails
Pre-web, these sorts of arguments were confined to the letters pages in specialist interest magazines, games pitches and jizz soaked dungeons. Nowadays, anyone can have their say and are likely to find both confederate opinion and an opponent base, ready for war.

Tbh, it doesn't matter and nobody's correct anyways.
The superior method for someone is the one that destroys the other methods (for them)
Which basically means I will say (for me) FL Studio is trash & Reason/Ableton are more useful for live performances.

I prefer cats - at the same time, I was the one who played all the time with the family dog. Even if it was mostly about angering, with that, I still found a way to befriend the dog too; there never was hate. The dog hated the dog-person, though, haha.
Morale, I bet FL hates the FLGang to begin with.
(If it doesn't make sense, my excuse is that I'm really tired now.)

It's a meme. It's harmless and stems from this -
FL GANG, FL GANG, FL GANG, FL GANG, FL GANG , FL GANG, FL GANG... (and so on...)
