This looks interesting. Anyone tried it yet? At work but looking forward to trying when I get home.

Maybe it got launched early? Or they caught a problem with it. Either way it looks super interesting. And I love the visual style of it. Can't wait to try this, whatever it is and whenever it goes live :)

Hope it's back soon. Looks cool. Gorgeous GUI & sounded good from the videos on the RE shop page.

Interesting. BHK Samples have been releasing sample packs for some time, albeit for various VST. The logo on the Parafilter III Sequencer RE is formatted just like the BHK Samples logo, too.

Cool they're starting their foray into instrument making with RE's - looks like someone from BHK is a Reason fan! ;)

Here's their YouTube channel - nothing on that RE, though. :(

That's pretty cool - that ZIP also comes with Combi that utilize Serum and Antidote + Parafilter III Sequencer RE. I wonder why the shop page was pulled (but they left that content up)? They've really bungled the release - LOL!!

This is one of the best RE UIs I've ever seen. I feel confident I could drop this into a track and start using it without touching the manual or even reading a description of what it does, everything is so intuitively laid out. The differently sized knobs and faders follow a clear hierarchy that makes it super easy to navigate visually. And it looks great, too.

I'm normally not into these type of devices (Alligator, Synchronous etc). I think I tried Synchronous once or twice and realized it wasn't for me. But this one looks pretty inviting.

I agree with the other comments, the GUI looks great.

Will try it once it hits the shop (the second time).

You can try now. And must have been at the shop and gone three times - it's already at Version 1.0.3 :o

Looks interesting. The CV out seem to be useful, also the cV in, only one for the rate is missing imo. Can be handy to quickly set up a moving filter.

Gonna try it how it sounds...

Looks promising. But I find even the intro price is too high for such a device.

Trying now. It's a lot of fun & I'm liking the drive & noise. The GUI is gorgeous. My only gripe is that I can do all this with existing devices. As such I'm not sure it quite has the wow factor to justify the price for me. Someone mentioned earlier it was quite Sherman Filterbank like. I can appreciate the comparison & I've always wanted a Sherman Filterbank RE. Parafilter III certainly points towards this direction. But it's no Sherman Filterbank. Torn on this one. If I buy it will be because I love the GUI & having it's capabilities in one very nicely designed RE. I also love more creative FX & this certainly falls into this category. But even at the intro price it's a big ask for me.

GUI is spot on. Perfect device for creating those Skrillex and co style basses without having a ton of automation lanes in the sequencer.

Weird thing is, I was just recently experimenting with this kind of filtering (sequenced/parallel/serial) using Waves MetaFilter and the SPEM mixer RE, and thinking how cool it would be to have everything in the one device. Now here it is - but yeah seems a bit pricey for just a workflow enhancer. Will try with an open mind, maybe there's something I'm missing

Have you tried D16 Devastor? Acording to many forums, this is closest software Sherman equivalent.

I found Devastor to have phase issues when using wet/dry, which rendered it unusable for my purposes. Also Devastor is primarily a tube/diode overdrive, the filter selection really isn't that special.

As for Parafilter: the GUI looks great, much better than Alligator, and I wanted to like it..but after looking at it more I have to agree with everyone who said it doesn't seem to have any functions that couldn't be done easily in Reason native devices. If there is ever an update with more filter types and send-return for each band/channel, then I would be interested.
