This is fantastic! I'm going to have to buy a Panorama this year. Did you use data from that project I set up? I'm glad someone got something out of it if you did. I have pretty much abandoned it (for now.)

Can't wait to see your other surprise!
If you ain't hip to the rare Housequake, shut up already.

Yes I did and thanks for setting that up, there are a few duplication's, I added all the files to a MSSQL db which made it a lot easier to manage which of course you are more than happy to have a copy of or an Export of..

There is also another funny going on with Reason and scopes, EG.
These 2 devices clash
Scope FutureAudioWorkshop vst.Plug.Circle2
Scope synthANDware vst.Plug.WaveSynthPlug

They clash as both short names vst.plug are the same, one would have thought that Reason should have made the scope manufacturers name and model name!!!!! Not sure what other DAW's do about scopes...
and again there are few of these scopes..

Well my P4 got here and I'm already in love. I'm still getting used to the workflow, have no idea how to get the motorized fader working... but that random button... wow.

You have to have 2 USB cables hooked up to use the motorised fader..

Note I have not used the motorised fader for at least a couple of years now, it's just something I did not use..

I think my issue was I didn't have the mixer locked to the device. All working great now. (And I still can't get over having a little poltergeist moving it when I open a new file!)

Great work. Could the maps be partially Impact LX+ compatible or Panorama only? Sorry if that was already answered.

Hello, I just bought the P6. I found this amazing post here, but I cannot understand some things (Im total new to midi keyboards etc)
So correct me if I'm wrong:
from all of these files, which ones should I replace with my installed in order to make P6 work better in REs and VSTS that I run in Reason?

If only replace the "Panorama.remotemap" file am I good to go? Or do I have to replace any other files for the Vsts?
(I run all my vsts through reason , vsts such as Korg Legacy, Dune, Kontakt vsts etc)

Reason 10.4, win10.

thanks

Correct just the "Panorama.remotemap" just needs replacing (just make sure you have the latest firmware).
Note devices like Kontakt are not mapped as they can be any one of million different combinations..
If the P6 says no mapping, then there is not a map however you get some maps where nothing is mapped out and you need to grab your controls for them to work.

thank you Carly!
I just replaced the file with yours!

When Im using Korg Legacy Collection, Polysix , when play from the (virtual) keybed of the vst, the sound is more fat and rich, when I play from the keybed of P6 the sound is not that strong ? Why? (the p6 screen displays VCFCUTOFF 28.9%, when I switch the knob to 63% only then sounds the same with the virtual keybed.
Another way to make it sound the same is to hit very hard the keybed of P6 (velocity sensitive), but I dont want to hit it hard every time I load the vst.

1.Is there a way to make it sound each time i load this vst, the same as the sounding of the virtual keybed? Because I like the starting point of sound that the virtual keybed has.

I hope that you can understand what Im trying to say. Sorry for my bad english

I also noticed that in some vsts (like Dune) I cannot load/change the patch using the DATA knob of p6. why?

thanks

You can change the velocity sensitivity of the P series via setup.
I would as a test set the velocity to fixed and make it the same as the virtual keyboard as I think this will also sort out your cutoff.

You can also change the velocity via players like the extremely excellent Delta or the Midi Compressor.

Well If i told you that I dont understand a thing... would you laugh?

Please understand that I am total new to daws and midis. If you can explain a little more of what to do, it would be great help. I thought of sending you this reply inbox because it is embarassing, then I thought that there might someone else like me who is beginner and this might help him too.
Anyway thanks again for your posts and help. I have subscribed to your yt channel. Its great.

Its great.
On the P6
hit the "Internal" button.
select "Setup"
select "Global"
Use the down arrows to navigate to "Velocity Curve"
Use the Data knob and change it to "Fixed" and test with that. I run mine on "Hard 2".

1) the FB link was in an above post :)
2) at the dropbox location there is a text file called scopelisting.txt, it's a little out of date, might be missing no more than about 50 scopes.

The mappings file was empty when I tried to download it. Are these maps somewhere else now? If not, where is the best place to find mappings these days?

Someone by mistake had removed them, all restored now.
