I too never need Skrock synths, but I still have a few. Can't resist.Adabler wrote: ↑18 Jan 2018https://shop.propellerheads.se/rack-ext ... pwm-synth/
I like Skrock. I will certainly check out this one as well. Tidy design and the demo track sounds nice. Not sure if I really need this, though, but...
it's pretty... tempted but... how many synths does one really need

I'm intrigued by this, whole heartedly! I love PWM in general (pretty sure that stems back from listening to SID chip tunes all the time, no really! I used to spend ages with a cassette recorder next to the monitor recording the music so I could listen to it on my walkman), there's something magical about it. But having the ability to morph all kinds of waveforms rather than just the square. That appeals to me, a lot!

For a guy who doesn't care much for nice looking GUI.. that's amazing looking. Others should take notes on Skrocks' designs for all the IDT synths. So simple yet good.
I learned from my last experience with a Skrock synth that I don't like IDT stuff unfortunately. No matter how good that gui looks, it's won't make the synth any better sounding. That's just me being nitpicky though, since I've already got other offerings that cover everything I need (and more!)
For 19 dollars, it's a cool little novelty synth with a super cool design!

Like dark themes. But use low contrast on monitors.
This skin for me is very hard to use. On MacBook I use about 20%, to work with this GUI I need up it to 50-60%. Blue text is more neon that controllers. On low contrast I lost controllers but more than needed view neon blue text.
Its very nice architecture of GUI, but colours good only on mid point of contrast/brightness. But with this config its pain for my eyes (in my situation). Not think that its better GUI, from SKROCK been better skins in previous devices.

Downloaded for trial... I have liked the sonic character of Skrock synths most of the time (have Kraft already) and going by the demo this one shouldn't disappoint either. Might buy this one just for support (already have all of the major RE synths in Reason plus a boat load of the minor ones...).

Skrock make great instruments. You never feel like they're limited by the IDT format, and the quality of the samples is super high (like you can go right up high on this one). Demo'ing atm but it sounds absolutely fantastic. Well done!!!
Couple of comments. Firstly I love the GUI. It's super Synthwavey, and I'm 100% down with that.
Secondly, the sound stops when you change certain settings. It's not a huge "problem". Just unusual. And hopefully something that can be sorted at some point!

I have Aurora and Solaris, and I really like this synth too. Reminds me of a Roland JX-8P.
That render where it looks like it's glowing - I LOVE THAT. Can you make the synth glow too? Or make it an option??!?!?
