All the sound treatment on the walls and ceiling is Auralex. The flat panels are great at damping reflections and deadening the room, but the bass traps are only just okay. However, my room is a textbook standing wave nightmare of a small square, so it would take some heavy-duty bass treatments to eliminate standing waves in my environment, and I don't have the space nor money for that. The Auralex bass traps do help, but they don't completely eliminate the problem. I used to use room correction software to compensate, but now I'm just so familiar with the sound of the room, that I know how to compensate in my head.ilikestargazing wrote: ↑14 Dec 2017Looks great! What kind of sound/bass traps are those all over the place? I've just started building a new room and going to get a bunch of sound traps made next month. Would love to hear about yours, and they look cool
Good luck with your space and be sure to post a pic when you're up and running!
