Btw it's also available in Audacity.
yes, but as far as I know in Audacity there are only 2 parameters that can be set compared to 30 parameters in the new VST

CPU usage is low. Incredible right?
Looks like it is now official released:

Thanks so much for the heads-up on this. I was just looking at the standalone program this week and wishing it was Reason-friendly.
This thing is fifty shades of awesome
Pretty much a no brainer for ambient stuff or sound design, can't believe it's a freebie

It's good! Definitely a nicer experience than using the standalone app. One thing that would be nice is play/stop buttons. ATM the playhead seems to kinda endlessly loop, so if you have a really long sound you have to wait for it to loop around again, and then record the output. You can ctrl+click to position the playhead manually but its responsiveness seems to be linked directly to the FFT size and stretch amount, so at really high settings you could be waiting around for like, 10 seconds before it start playing from where you want. Here's hoping it gets a bit more refined in the future

I swear, a few hours before I just read this, I was thinking about using Paulstretch in Audacity with TeflonTomb's/Modecca's Nostromo sounds. I've already been playing around with his stuff in Grain. I had no idea this was in the works. It's a good time to have VST support!
There is a new version available, but not ready for download that seems to improve the GUI performance.chimp_spanner wrote: ↑13 Feb 2018It's good! Please tell me: How do I get the Paulstrech VST plugin to work in Reason 12? I use MACOS Monterey!
From their website here: https://xenakios.wordpress.com/paulxstretch-plugin/
Since Monterey is quite new, it may not work.v1.2.4 Mac Os 64 bit VST2 and AudioUnit, for OS-X 10.9-10.13 (10.14 may work, 10.15 Catalina is not likely to work but you can always try) :
Mac tells me, the VST can't open, because it isn't from a certified developer. The Standalone App is to open with a right-click, but it don't know how to handle this with the VST plugin!

I've found this works in Big Sur/M1 - https://www.osirisguitar.com/how-to-mak ... -catalina/ - Specifically the terminal command in the first comment - sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/*
Thank you very much! I will try it!
