That would be nice. I often trigger an envelope for an accent like effect on cut off and resonance. Matrix' curve with a Pulverizer follower or just Janitor comes in handy here.drno wrote: ↑26 Oct 2017the cv input modulates the filter a fixed amount around the cutoff value, it's not very spectacular, but does a good job for the type of effects seen in the video, fed the cv in an LFO and changing the lfo speed synchronized with the tempo:
in next revisions I'll add more "cv in" for the cutoff, resonace and spice pot, and a knob to control the modulation of the LFO input.
I hope to find some time ...

What exactly is "spice" doing?

Max res and the filter becomes an Decent enough Oscillator.
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!
And now the filter needs a keyboard follow i miss this on PMS-20, F-16 has this.

Thanks for clarifying, drno. And thanks again for this wonderful gift! I am loving this filter, it really sounds great! <3drno wrote: ↑26 Oct 2017the cv input modulates the filter a fixed amount around the cutoff value, it's not very spectacular, but does a good job for the type of effects seen in the video, fed the cv in an LFO and changing the lfo speed synchronized with the tempo:

Seems like it's adding saturation. Put a couple of them in row with "spice" turned up and you'll get very similar results to using Saturation Knob.
I like how subtle it can be, even more so than Saturation knob. Might use it for that function alone sometimes.
But I noticed the saturation gets added after the filter section so it will introduce new low rumbly frequencies when using the HP filter type. So you need to add an additional HP filter after to remove those frequencies. Just good to be aware of that.
I appreciate simple REs like this. And it's nice to have the 18 dB filter slope as well. That one doesn't exist in GQ-7 which is other wise my go to EQ/filter device.

Hi,
I added this to A Combinator for My Kick Drum. Everytime I start playing a song for the first time it misses the first beat / digitally distorts the kick.
Is this a known issue. Again, otherwise great tool.
Thanks
Chris

Hi, I can try it on windows. If it is breakable I will break it!
Found a bug with the CV in anyway. And another when you send a high rate LFO to it with high resonance. Sound completely cuts off. Was a bit loud too but sounded nice anyway prior!

Seems like a feedback thing with that high rate LFO.
Trying to reproduce the sound cutting out but was unable with Thors LFO (-0.5 to 0.5) will try with Little LFO.
But here is the feedback thing anyway seems like spice has a roll to play so increase rotary 3 and then spice eventually it should get louder. Also the CV in is out of sync takes a while for the feedback to get louder so if patience is troubling more spice!

Elusive little mofo. Spice seems to be the culprit if its the same bug!

Thanks for sharing this. I like it.Loque wrote: ↑25 Oct 2017Its a HPF & LPF in one device with some "Spice" on top. And its free.
Welcome to Reason World and gratulations to your first release, MagmaSonic!

PS: Not sure, for what the CV out is...
Nice straight to the point filter. The cv out has some cool effects (looking at the 2nd video on the Propellerhead Shop page) when hooked up to Pulsar.
Just tryna find out what the 'Spice' parameter does. It seems to distort the sound by how it sounds at first listen.

Put it on your master. I don''t think there is any latency with the MClass limiter it is only 192 samples anyway 4ms with the lookahead on.
This one is 64 samples (1.3ms) free VST

Cool filter, been using it here and there and enjoy it!
Had a problem with it as well though. Was using it to filter sweep a white noise audio file and randomly later there was no sound at all coming from the channel. Deleted the filter and the sound came back as it was. Anyone else have a similar problem?
Couldn't spare time to try & replicate unfortunately. Had to get a few things finished for deadline. Might have some more time this week to try & replicate the issue, I'll update this thread if it happens again.
