Reason12, Win10
Nice! Reason has been longing for a default hp filter, this looks like a good candidate. I always feel its necessary to stick one at the end of a mastering chain after adding exciters to the high or low-end to regain some control before going into the limiter. Will be interesting to see if this is transparent enough for that task with the knob spice set to 0. AF4 has some kind of compression algorithm and heavily colours the sound, F16 is a little awkward to work with and tweaking too much results in colouration as well.
There seems to be a typo in the first line of the product page.

This is awesome, thanks so much! I've been looking for a filter exactly like this!
@drno, If you need any help beta testing, Reasontalk is an excellent resource for developers to find experienced Reason users/beta testers. We also have a private forum for developers and their beta teams to use. Just let us know and we can set you up!
Also..... regarding the amazing filter you just released.... what exactly is the CV in doing/modifying?

Was only thinking there is not enough filters! Thanks..
Just tested it there think its a passthrough!
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!

A simple and nice Filter. Will come in handy

The question is - Who cares
Yes, I think it is a pass-through. I hooked both the input signal and output to SKOPE and they seem identical. Still not sure exactly what the cv in is controlling, though. Seems to be more than just the cutoff. Is it doing both cutoff and res together? Maybe throwing in a bit of the spice into the mix, too?AttenuationHz wrote: ↑26 Oct 2017I too would like to know this especially the out?!

I'm sort of wishing the cv in had a scale knob on it to dial down the cv input level. And while I am wishing, I wish there were separate cv inputs for all the knobs on the front (at least cutoff, res, spice). But I am definitely NOT complaining. This filter sounds amazing.... very vintage analogue, at least to my crappy ears.

the cv input modulates the filter a fixed amount around the cutoff value, it's not very spectacular, but does a good job for the type of effects seen in the video, fed the cv in an LFO and changing the lfo speed synchronized with the tempo:
in next revisions I'll add more "cv in" for the cutoff, resonace and spice pot, and a knob to control the modulation of the LFO input.
I hope to find some time ...

Thanks kindly for this. I've been wanting a new simple and interesting filter for quite a while. I'll pick it up ASAP!
