A question came up "Propultion Drum sequencer, Awesome to program quick drums, why did they not include a way to drop the midi we do to the sequencer. Is there any alternative way to getting these notes to the sequencer anyone,"

and here is my answer.

Using
ProPulsion
CV8x4
MoPol
Either a player or EMI (via a Midi Loopback) to get the data to the Seq.

Very useful. Probably won't use it just use pattern automation but there will probably come a time when I'll need to export the midi data, good to know!
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!

I use the EMI a lot, see my other video's CV to Midi.

One thing to remember is as soon as you record to the SEQ via midi you are scaling your signal to 0 -127, I did play about with using the pitch bend wheel as that is scaled a LOT higher.

Just to clarify that is the pitch bend wheel on the EMI.

A lot of people do over look the EMI, I think some of it with other people is due to having to setup a midi loopback and a surface control in Reason which is very straight forward thing to do. In both cases it takes a couple of minutes to do and you only have to do it once.

I wonder if there is another way to do this without the player and midi out

because I prefer to work with reason essential,

To write straight into the SEQ

I have given this some thought but the only thing I could come up with is no good for editing, route it via Thor and convert it to Audio and then later on you can convert the audio back to CV. still thinking about this one.
