Serato Sampler
A great sampler that detects the key and scale itself. The key can then be adjusted to the song or other samples. In addition, it synchronizes the tempo. Great thing I wonder if there will be something like this in Reason sometime.

Very cool plugin. Seems to only detect Major and Minor keys though.

Heard about this not too long ago. I believe Bigg Vic (YouTuber) referred to it as the Recycle killer. In some respects he might be right.
This thing is a godsend for golden-era Hip Hop folks. Recycle functionally does some stuff this doesn't do (especially within the Reason universe), but the bouncing back and forth between apps is a pain in the ass. Serato is instantly usable and inspirational because the auto-chop feature will point out slices you wouldn't have picked out manually, which leads to some great "discoveries" when cycling through sounds. Great stuff.
Its really nice. At the moment the only problem is that it doesnt contain the sample within the project itself.
For people that use reason with the self contain settings its gonna be a pain.
Furthermore drag and drop from within reasons' browser to seratos sampler doesnt work correctly.

Yeah I noticed these 2. Sort of annoying as I really like to have all session samples self contained and the ability to drag and drop.afrodude wrote: ↑16 Oct 2017Its really nice. At the moment the only problem is that it doesnt contain the sample within the project itself.

Searto + Ableton Push + Reason is awesome combination. But the not functional Drag&Drop feature is annyoing because the "open file browser" in serato doesnt allow you to Pre Listen the song you want to import.
As soon as i achieved something with serato that i like, i bounce it to place and export the sample to my libary.
Are you guys able to Drag&Drop a sample from a windows folder into serato?

Interesting! I feel comfortable sampling in Reason's sequencer because you can just drag/drop/directly record and easily chop and play loops. I made a quick tutorial on youtube showing why I like it...no need to tempo match, when you can just stretch to time and adjust tempo after.
"Cocaine and Prostitutes"
yeah sampling in reason isnt the problem
i normally chop/timestretch the samples but then like to use dr.rex to play em on my mpc.
the 'lazy chopping' like in ableton that is avalaible in serato sampler and the automatic key detection
Also being able to stretch the sample all over the keyboard is a very welcome features.
