Tell me about flangers

Looking for a good flanger plugin. I have Uhbik-F which I don't love, also Satin which sounds great but is a bit light on features. What I'm after is something with a "classic" sound, but also very versatile so I can get freaky/experimental with it. D16's Antresol looks interesting - I like their REs very much - anybody using it? or what else can you recommend?

I'm on Mac and avoiding Waves plugins, also not interested in anything requiring iLok

I hate most flangers.

But the "electric mistress" still has that vibe. Not sure if there are many plugs (other than IK multimedia)

Not sure you can get freaky with it.

Oh, I forgot. Too bad about the ilok thing, the soundtoys is scary good.
