Seems to be pretty random. Adjust anything and there's a 3% chance it crashes everything.

I stopped using the free version of Amplitude 4 ages ago, for that very reason

Yeah did cross my mind actually. Although someone on here said they'd never had a problem with paid vst's, mainly the free ones. Maybe use that as a rule and it'll run smoothly.
