Some guy called Jake Albaugh just posted this on reddit:

http://codepen.io/jakealbaugh/full/qNrZyw/

Allows playing arpeggios (with a graphically selectable waveform) while selecting the degrees of an 8-bar progression, within any scale and any mode. There's no saving, so it's just for fun, although if you stumble on something good, it's quite easy to reproduce in Reason afterwards.

Somewhat similar to Autotheory but way simpler and easier to use. Great fun.

Is there a way to get midi from these progressions generated?

I saw this the other day. I saved off the source code because I liked how the scales were organized. I might fold it into a remote codec I'm working on...

It's also a great way to visualize arpeggios. Wish someone would make a Player RE with that visualization.
If you ain't hip to the rare Housequake, shut up already.

You could try using the audio-to-midi in R9. Let us know how it goes!
