i am looking after orchestrion refills or wave files, samples etc
any ideas where to find such samples. yes i googled ;-)

Reason comes with Orkesta which is very workable. It coves most of what you will need to make a symphonic type of a racket.

Euphonic Strings has good press.

I personally think these sounds are hard to get because the songs are often print (and are not cheap).
Also, the devices themselves are pretty expensive (and getting pretty rare too).

"Hollywood Film Strings Elite" refill in the propshop.  Thats my go-to refill for orchestral sounds.    I also like "Euphonic Strings" refill in the propshop.  Both are great choices!

maybe a job for a pro sampling artist.i have one studio (just googled) around my corner wich reworking the old musicmaschines.


richter's in neu-isenburg (and yes tolkien has some of the names from germany cities)

What kind of strings are included? String sections? 

Here in the Netherlands lots of people recommend Spitfire (spitfireaudio) for Strings but they won't do Reason.
