Moog Model 15 app!
Now the Props have NO excuse! Bring reason (or a version of it) to iPad! Cables have been done, so it's time....
Don't think I've EVER used the phrase "insta-buy" before, but TODAY it applies. Love AniMoog, and the Model 15 is sure to bring back memories of working on the real deal!!! Thanks for the heads up, was not paying attention and had heard little of this before now.

Now that sounds great. Don't suppose there is an RE...
Is tempting to get an iFad tho as I don't feel that any Reason device can get quite that depth of sound.

It's pricey for an App. But what a great looking App.
Moog have knocked it out of the park with this one. Animoog was fantastic but look at this thing!

This. Sounds. Amazing.
Here's a cool 'exclusive' look at the app.
Tutorial mode! Sweet.

Drawing cables is hardly the challenging part of bring a full blown daw to the iPad...Despondo wrote:Now the Props have NO excuse! Bring reason (or a version of it) to iPad! Cables have been done, so it's time....

BTW you guys should check out Pulsecode Modular. It's been kicking around for a while now but it's actually a really good modular synth. IMO the filters are great and resonate almost as well as the Model 15, and it actually has more modules to choose from (slew limiters, distortion, delays with comb filter modes, super saws, etc.). And you can add as many of anything as you want. Until you run out of rack space that is.
Between this and Model 15 I can't imagine there aren't many sounds I can't get!

I'm also having a blast with Analog Kit and Audulus 3, both more in the Reaktor category rather than the traditional analog category like the Moog.
The more the merrier IMO!

They loved it on SonicTalk. Not surprising. It's pretty bloody amazing.
Great demo here of one of the available sound banks;

Analog Kit. (GUI upgrade needed... but Great Sounds, for sure)
PulseCode Modular.... and RHythm Studio. (Nice Kits)
Audulus 3. Boss. I needed a more intuitive 'Plogue Bidule'
Excellent suggestions, Selig.
Thanks

Nice App but needs much time to create something like in every modular System. But it Sounds really good. I am puzzling how near you could get sound wise inside of Reason, with the modular system from Ochen K. Cause with all the filters you can put behind a generator in Reason you can sculpt the sound also very good. Also this App is a sucker on the battery.
But this is an incredible Effect Device if you route something with Audiobuss into it.

I think, what I do with the Moog is very nearby to this:

The Intro video to Mod Synth. That's a Great Start. There are also some good Combi Patches.
It seems Moog 15 makes dynamic use of it's connections, where the video you posted is a Beginner's How-To.

One feature which is really nice - and would work fantastically in Reason - is double press a source, scroll, double press a destination. Dragging cables in Reason across multiple racks really is hassle. I know you can use the right click menu but with a lot of devices it can get really confusing. Would be great if you could double press Mod Env CV Out (or whatever), go to another device, double press a CV in and it's connected. Is it even worth sending a feature suggestion?
