So, video logging… after all Ok, this is a test…
At the end, I would've looked into my empty mug and said, "Looks like I need a ReFill!" and then pan fast to the left where there is a drummer who does a rimshot.bitley™ wrote:So, video logging… after all Ok, this is a test…
I need to hire a drummer!
I realize there must be more demo material made so you guys can hear more from these refills, but let me just tell you that a typical Bitley™ refill takes from 3-4 months to 8 months of daily work to produce. These refills are not made in the same way as many others, where producers have spent perhaps a week or so on the material. I really really try to maximize everything and make it ultra professional. You will hear… I am working on a demo of the Poly X3M refill now with magnificient Korg Lambda sounds. You have definitely not heard anything like it in Reason before. Hold on...
Thank you very much! It complements it very nicely. These sounds are not in WBF R2.
Checked! Please see our facebook page where I posted comparsions;

There are many more Lambda patches in Poly X3M, however, the previous "Poly Ensemble" (which also was a refill) sounds are in WBF R2 so it is a little taster of it. The graphics are very different; the one in WBF R2 is the wooden panel one.

A Korg Delta refill would be good. Also a way to purchase the refill without using PayPal - e.g. made available on the props shop. I have no desire to join paypal and would have bough this years ago if not for that, and I know of at least one other in the same boat.
As a novice when it comes to refills, currently don't any, I've done a bit of research and all routes lead me to Bitley's products as top notch golden standards. With this new offer, my options became a bit more complicated because the Summer 2016 Bundle offers a lot of great refills with a lot of savings. The alternative, WBF R2,which is what I had my eyes on originally is massive in size for a refill, addresses my love for classic 80's synths, and the oh so sweet price sway me towards it.
Which refill would be the better choice for me at this moment? It seems that either one I go with will be greatly beneficial, and I would love to have the option to pick up both but I can't at the moment.
I'm not particularly looking for a specific task to get done by either, just want to pick up some new sounds and have fun with them.
Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated. Thank you.

Well I do have a problem with PayPal similar to the situation you have with props, in that I have had a bad experience with them in the past, and they still spam me.bitley™ wrote:In Europe, IBAN/BIC works well, but Paypal is good, I don't see any problems with it for the buyer, rather problems for the seller (that would be me) since they charge a lot for selling goods.
My refills will not appear on the PropShop because Ernst refuses to let me sell there, due to the fact that I was an employee there some 15 years ago and he is strangely disappointed with me "for life" for some mysterious and unbelievable reason. I have sent him probably 30 emails since then trying to take us on talking terms but he absolutely refuses. That is my only explanation. What I did wrong? I can hardly even remember; in fact I did nothing wrong at all - but my forum friends played a practical joke on a website owned by Luthman who were the swedish distributors of reason and someone there went bollocks and blamed me.
Anyway if you ever get a sales mechanism other than paypal I'll be first to buy, or I will wait for Ernst to die so you can get in the shop with his predecessor.
Seriously...
Branded? Repackaging?
Hm.
With Fairlight it was OK with the naming and the usage of old samples - from both Fairlight companies and including the machine's very inventor himself, Peter Vogel, and I can assure you that nothing I ever do is 'repackaging'. This is original and truly hard work. I don't know if I should say much more, I wish some of my long time users would step in instead because they certainly write better english than I do.

Ernst, if you are reading this, no offence intended. I love reason and I also love the old Fairlight, as I am an Aussie but also the sounds themselves. Please allow the Fairlight refill to be in the prop shop ! @Bitley hopefully Peter would give you the binary samples so you don't have to sample a sample ! I had one of the original Fairlight demo cassette tapes back in early 80's with the sales kit.
Prophet, Lambda and JX-10 refills are mighty tempting!

That's pretty weird story about getting locked out of the PropShop. I would have thought getting high quality content would trump any personalized rivalries or disagreements.
Have you tried to submit your smaller ReFills, though? Might be a "size" issue, as WBF seems significantly bigger/pricier than the average ReFill for sale there.
