I am looking for the classic kraftwerk vocoder sounds (autobahn TEE robots) for a music project.
Are there refills with these type of vocoder effects besides the reason factory bank?

could use the BV512 vocoder. Set it for 4 or 8 bands. Or do you not have a mic for recording the voice part of the vocoder signal?

I have often used online text to speech renders and then BV512.

BV512 is great for those classic vocoder sounds. But also check out Sonic Charge's Bitspeek Rack Extension for some awesome robot voice sounds too:

https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/bitspeek/

It sounds like this:

Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite |  Reason 12 | i7 3770k @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro | Akai MPC Live 2 & Akai Force | Roland System 8, MX1, TB3 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD

try the vocoder in caustic 3 its free download for pc and watch vids on it it is surprisingly good and very modable when you use the modular synth as carrier etc etc for free then import into reason if you look and like it and choose to use it but id say if you check it out you wont regret it compared to reasons ones.

Thanks for the info, bpmorton!

Moogs are outside of my area of expertise... According to youtube it seems to be quite a capable synth! Nice!

Played a Sub37 at Guitar Center and I'm in love. Wish they had a Pro 2 right next to it.

Wow! Isn't the Moog Source what New Order used for Blue Monday's fat bassline?

yes, I've read that as well. Supposedly used for the basslines on the ZZ top album "Eliminator" and I have seen Tony Levin use one with King Crimson. The source sounds like a MiniMoog.
