Iwas just trying out the carve with a current mixing mission. It could have been just an accident, I don't know, but listening to the exported audio file, there were crackling noises several time and only in the parts where carve was used. then I deactivated it, same result. Then I deleted all carves and the mixdown was just fine. I used the parallel outs to feed the carves reference in btw.
Anyone experienced somethin similar (maybe it really was just an accident though...)?

could you reproduce it in a new session? for example with 1-2 instruments?
Hey, I found a minute to check this and set up a two track session rebuilding the same setup as in the mix project. and it worked flawlessly!
So I guess the problem ocurred, because the mix project was already driving my hardware towards its limits... .
