I would like to know how people are working with comping feature to get best result out
of it.
Comping Clip... How are you using it ?
Your question is pretty general. Reason audio comping is a breeze. Here's what I do,
Set your loop points.
Track til you're whack.
Open the clip
Find the best takes and splice points. Fine tune
With grid on bar or beat, you can slide takes and stay rhythmic
Also you can dupe takes and then slide them
The manual explains all this.
Reason does comping well.
Hope this helps

Yeah you are right. Actually what you describe it mostly what comp is used for.motuscott wrote:Your question is pretty general. Reason audio comping is a breeze.
But even with its simple feature which is fixing takes, do you use it as a purely sound design tool to get completely new audio files?
And if so, what is your approach (knowing that you want to do sound design with that tool).
I know how comp work actually Im using it to fix audio recording when necessary. But Im trying to see how I can use it as a new sound design tool.
