What it says on the tin, five tracks of ambient/experimental tracks made with Giorgio Sancristoforo's tape loop emulation software No Fi I recorded earlier this year, then stitched together in Reason. This was probably the most labour intensive project I've ever worked on. Although there's only five tracks I actually made over a hundred separate loops, and all together I probably worked full time every day for a couple of months on it.

I know this isn't going to be for everyone! If you want something more accessible, well, I have that coming shortly. But not only did I work incredibly hard on it, but it's probably the most emotional and heartfelt music I've made in a long time. So if this is your kind of thing, I hope you enjoy.

Oh, and the cover photo is the hospital across the road from my house very early one foggy morning when I had really bad insomnia.

This is a perfect ambient project IMO. You can listen actively and be immersed in the world you created, or listen passively in a 100% ambient way. Works both ways for me!

I find the mood to be wonderfully enigmatic for me, not overly dark, nor overtly happy. It "just is", which is a very difficult state to create in my experience. Timeless, in all respects; could represent a wide range of actual times, and also takes me out of "time" when listening. Perfect!

Hey!! thanks for your kind words here and on my other post, it really means a lot to me you took the time to listen to to my stuff and you got where I'm coming from with it.

I was somehow raised to appreciate all sound, not just music.
I also meant to compliment you on the photograph, which somehow makes me feel like the music sounds, if that makes any sense at all!
