This is a rather simple and straight forward song. I've gone for a smooth and non abrasive sound with this one.
I've used the Champagne SuperNova synth for everything except the drums.

A lovely mix of funky and soothing sounds. Makes me picture driving through the countyside at night.

I'm in love with the bassline and its production. The melody is excellent and it has that wonderful late 90s videogame feel. The chord progression is smooth and the drums are punchy but not aggressive ( love you left the hats a little in the back ); the solo at 1:39 is majestic. Awesome track. Grats.

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah keeping the drums and the hihats especially a bit in the background was a very conscious choice.Quarmat wrote: โ16 Sep 2024I'm in love with the bassline and its production.
